LUGAR Y FECHA DEL AMÉRICAS Y CARIBE 2010
La Comisión Chilena de Agility (CCA) ha confirmado el lugar y fecha para la realización del Américas y Caribe Chile 2010.
Entre el 18 a 21 de marzo del 2010 nos juntaremos en el gimnasio Polideportivo de Viña del Mar para dar cita a todos los amantes del agility en América y el Caribe.
Viña del Mar, o comúnmente conocida también como Viña, es un balneario chileno ubicado a una hora y media de Santiago, lugar por el cual entrarán las delegaciones a Chile. Viña es una hermosa ciudad, con gratas temperaturas que ofrece muchas distracciones, como un casino, hermosas playas y paseos peatonales, entre muchos otros. Viña también está ubicada a 20 minutos de Valparaíso, ciudad que es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por su valor cultural e historia, además de su especial construcción que se toma los cerros. En marzo, cuando se realizará el Américas y Caribe 2010, la temperatura media en Viña del Mar varía de 15 a 23 grados Celsius.
La capacidad hotelera de la ciudad es de muy buen nivel y cuenta con precios al alcance de todos los bolsillos y las distancias son relativamente cortas, de 15 a 20 minutos. Actualmente, el grupo de trabajo a cargo de este tema busca establecer convenios con los diferentes hoteles para que esto no sea una preocupación para las delegaciones.
La competencia se llevará a cabo en el Polideportivo, que es un hermoso recinto inaugurado el 22 de noviembre del 2000. El Polideportivo tiene capacidad para 3.371 personas sentadas, y su piso es una superficie plástica “pulastic”, que para este evento estará cubierta con grama sintética. El recinto cuenta con 10 camarines con agua caliente, una cafetería, una enfermería, un salón VIP, vigilancia a través de cámaras de seguridad y estacionamientos para 140 vehículos. En este lugar se han realizado eventos tan importantes como el Mundial Juvenil de Hockey Patín, el Panamericano de TaeKwondo, el Panamericano de Handbol y el Sudamericano de Karate.

THE A&C 2010 FINAL DATE AND LOCATION
The Chilean Agility Association (CCA in Spanish) has confirmed the location and date for the biggest yearly agility event in the Americas, the Americas and Caribbean Chile 2010.
The event will take place from the 18th to the 21st of March, 2010, in Viña del Mar, and the venue will be the Polideportivo.
Viña del Mar, also known as Viña, is a gorgeous coastal city with beautiful beaches located an hour and a half away from Santiago by car. Viña offers plenty of distractions, such as a Casino, the beaches and walking paths, among others. Additionally, in March, temperatures in Viña range from 15 to 23 Celsius degrees (60F to 73F). The city is also located 20 minutes away from the most important Chilean port, Valparaiso. This port has been declared a World Heritage area by UNESCO, due to its culture, history and characteristic construction through the hills.
You will find plenty of accommodations in Viña for all price ranges with short distances between them and the venue, with no more than a 20 minutes drive. The respective CCA team is working towards contacting hotels and other accommodations to offer great deals to all participants.
The Championship will be hosted in the Polideportivo with a capacity for 3,371 seated viewers. It features plastic flooring called “pulastic”, which will be covered with synthetic grass for this event. The arena also features 10 changing rooms with hot water, a cafeteria, a VIP lounge, closed-circuit vigilance, sick bay and a parking lot for 140 vehicles. This venue has hosted important events, such as the World Hockey Championship, Pan-American Handball championship and South American Karate championship.
